Q1 2024 Train Games App Performance in Latin America

Latin America's mobile gaming enthusiasts have shown a steady interest in train-themed games during the first quarter of 2024. The data from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the performance of the top five train games on the unified platform, which includes both iOS and Android devices.

The Train Station 2: Steam Empire by Pixel Federation Games saw a peak in downloads reaching 35K in early February, while weekly active users (WAU) hit a high of 165K in the same month. The revenue trended upwards with a notable increase to $2.9K in early February before experiencing a dip towards the end of the quarter.

Budge Studios' Thomas & Friends Minis also enjoyed a strong quarter with downloads peaking at nearly 25K at the end of January. WAU for the app showed a healthy climb, reaching over 35K towards the end of January.

The same publisher's Thomas & Friends: Go Go Thomas observed a steady revenue flow with the highest at $1.6K mid-March. The app's downloads had a slight uptick towards the end of March at 8.7K, and WAU maintained above 29K throughout the quarter.

Thomas & Friends: Magic Tracks, yet another Budge Studios creation, witnessed its highest downloads at 33K at the end of January, while the WAU reached a peak of 64K in the same period. The revenue showed an upward trend with a bump to $1K in mid-February.

Lastly, the minimalist Mini Metro by Dinosaur Polo Club demonstrated a tight range of weekly active users, hovering around 11K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained modest with a small peak at 838 in early January, and revenue saw a significant increase to $685 towards the end of March.
